We finally have harvested all plots where manipulations of nutrient levels in the water column and sedimentation have performed in the last months. This is within a project funded by our “Plan Nacional” (Sciences and Innovation Ministerial Bureau). Fortunately, all plots were collected satisfactorily and we all look forward for the results. We now have to look at responses at different organization levels, from physiological (e.g. changes in the C, N and P contents of shoots and leaves) to ecological (e.g. changes in the composition and abundance of associated epifauna and epiphytes), passing through population-level responses (e.g. shoot density, biomasses).
